Every scenario resolves on its own. You force a scenario at create time, the offramp reaches the status you asked for, and 3 minutes later it moves to its true terminal status, CRYPTO_RETURNED. No follow-up API call is needed.
Magic values are sandbox only. In production, sandboxScenario is rejected with a 400.

Magic values

You can force an offramp outcome by providing a magic value on the sandboxScenario field when making requests to the create an offramp endpoint. The following table outlines the magic values and their effects: All three resolve to CRYPTO_RETURNED 3 minutes after reaching the status they force. The offramp reports an intermediate FIAT_RETURNED on the way, matching the production progression, so expect webhooks for both statuses. Testnet crypto is delivered on chain to the sender’s wallet as part of the return, and CRYPTO_RETURNED is reached once that delivery confirms.

Coverage

Offramp magic values are wired into USD offramps and global network offramps, and all three resolve to CRYPTO_RETURNED. Values that are not listed above either fall through to the standard sandbox behavior or return an error.
