KYC uses a separate name-based convention from transfers. Rather than a sandboxScenario field, you set a name field to a magic value and the application is driven to the matching status.
Magic values are sandbox only. In production, KYC applications undergo real compliance review and these names carry no special meaning.

Magic values

Set lastName (for individuals) or businessName (for businesses) to a magic value when making requests to the submit KYC endpoint to drive the application to a particular status:
Note: Any other value results in the standard sandbox behavior, where KYC is typically auto-approved. Some compliance checks, such as PEP screening, can still block approval in sandbox regardless of the name used.
See KYC status and KYB status for what each status means.

Coverage

KYC magic values cover APPROVED, PENDING, REJECTED, and the RFI_PENDING lifecycle. RFI only auto-resolves to ACTIVE.
